I have decided to use the first three texts in Tottel’s Miscellany, songs and sonnets. They are called: Alas so all things now, although I had a check, and as oft I as behold and se. I decided to use these three in the beginning so that I hoped it would give me an idea of what Tottel idea was when it came to writing this book. I decided to draw this because it’s been a long time since I actually had drawn; I hope it comes out great. I want to draw what I feel he was thinking when he written this story.
The drawing that I am planning to draw about is going to be on love it seems that all of his stories is based off that concept. I have to delve deep into the article to see why he had chosen this concept. Also, I have to do research on this theme to see where the author is coming from. The poems are a bit difficult for me to understand but I hope with all my research and the end of this semester I will truly understand how to read and understand this article. I hope my drawings will give my classmates the understanding of what the reader is talking about. The format I will be creating will be analog, because this representation will be better when using my drawings to interpret the data. My target audiences would be my classmates because they are the one viewing this assignments and the Professor.  Also, the fact that  my classmates are reading the book as well will give them a better understanding of what I am trying to say and interpret using Tottel’s  Miscellany. I hope that everyone will enjoy the effort that I have made while doing this project.

  1. Keep in mind that Tottel is not the author of this poetic miscellany (this is the appropriate name for the genre) and that, as we discussed in class, these poems are not necessarily about love. Looking forward to seeing your remix!
