Throughout this semester, I’ve learned how to analyse and  translate old English literature poetry and works into modern English. By doing so, I’m allowed to understand what the author is saying and paint pictures in my mind to understand  him better  . Tottel’s miscellany is a book that I  used to find difficult to understand , however now I feel great and confident  about reading it because all i need to do is a close reading. For my final project, I’m still debating on the poems that I will be analysing. But so far, I have three poems and I might change them in the future , who knows? . These poems are : #272,#144 and #176. I will be creating fun memes that describes the poems and also reorganizing  and recreating titles to at least 5 poems. As we can see some of the title of poems in Tottel’s Miscellany are complex and doesn’t neccessary go with the poems. I think it’s will be best to have a poem that has a title that explain it , rather than reading a title and  get different perspectives from reading the actual poem . The reasons why i’m also intrigue about creating a memes is because I love memes. When you go through my phone gallery , you will see a huge section of screenshort full of memes.I was not  sure of posting  these memes on social media because i’m afraid that most people won’t get it since they haven’t read Tottel’s Miscellany . Then what’s the point of creating them ?. Therefore I’m thinking about  being more creative with the memes and making it understandable, fun with an important message. I will also make sure that I do some research to know if my own interpretation of the poems is the same as the authors. Because,  sometimes we interpret stuff on our own way and failed to understand what is the author really saying. I will try my best to make this project fun to present .
